It took us two days to find our "perfect" condominium. Despite the abundance of modern condos with chic territory, we settled in Waterpark. Of course, two days is not enough, but we always meet such a deadline. With the exception of Phuket, where we spent almost two weeks looking for an apartment.

For two days of active searches, we examined both new condos and older condos. Pattaya now has a wide range of accommodation options. There is where to turn around and prices can not but rejoice.

We chose between the following condominiums:

  • (the location in the ass is bad, there are wastelands with dogs around)
  • (embarrassed closet in the toilet)

The next morning we decided that we would move in. Still, this condo is the largest and most beautiful apartment we have seen in these 2 days of walking around the complexes.

Water Park Condominium

Why did we doubt? The whole snag was that the complex was, as it were, still under construction. Most of it was already finished (as we thought), but finishing work was carried out almost every day.

There was an incomprehensible situation with the pool. It looked like unfinished, although it was possible to swim in it.


For some reason, they blocked the sea view with a white wall, which was removed only after 2 months

The fitness room has yet to be put in order. And they also promised a sauna, which they didn’t even start doing after 5 months, as we live here. And 2 years later, as the condo passed. And only in 2017 the sauna was finally completed.

Well, the general neglect and even abandonment repelled us at first (but the contract has already been signed, we will have to endure it).

Despite these inconveniences, we remembered how quickly kondikas grow one after another in Pattaya and somehow reassured ourselves. Everything will be ready in two or three weeks!

We thought so naively and firmly stated the girls at the reception ... The main thing is that the complex itself has been commissioned for a year already, and it is here, because almost all the apartments are sold out.

We got used to the role of apartment owners in Waterpark Condo

I can’t wait to jump ahead so as not to return to the first part of the article and tell you now that absolutely nothing has changed in our condo in the first month. We waited, waited, fiddled with the reception, got them with questions. There was one answer to everything - we are waiting for documents for further work in this condo. But the days dragged on and were replaced by weeks, and then months.

In one of those months on the roof, when we once again went out to see if there were any changes, we met a woman who bought an apartment here as a property. She told us the whole story of the WaterPark condominium, which in short sounds like this - we have been promised to put the building in order for more than a year. We write letters to the developer (Heights Holdings), we constantly deal with the administration, already openly declaring that we paid money for such a condo ...

We ourselves wrote several times to Heights Holdings in Russian and in English with a request to put the condo in order. Although, we just rented an apartment, what do we care about this air conditioner. They answered, by the way, from several letters only once. Russian contacts, as is customary in Pattaya, did not answer.

WaterPark condo is the best example of how the picture differs from the result desired and promised by the developer (see video at the end of the post).

It was supposed to be just a luxurious condo with waterfalls, water slides and fountains. In fact, everything turned out completely differently. Exactly the opposite. And if it were not for the spacious apartments and good location, then the air conditioner would be considered a completely failed project.

It’s a pity for our people, people who bought real estate here with such an exchange rate, implying that they would live in a dream condo. And as a result, a whole year of scandals, nerves and letters. Residents literally knocked out each square meter to bring him to mind.

Waterpark today

People lived in such a condominium all year long. And we are the first 2 months. But then, finally, the lazy Burmese took up the roof, destroyed the ridiculous wall, brought exercise equipment to the gym, and today Water Park has changed, it has become much prettier.

If you do not remember how we found the Waterpark condominium together with the residents, then it will pass for a solid complex. At least our tourists like it very much and apartments are willingly booked here.

Territory Waterpark Condominium

Not all condos in Pattaya have their own territory. And she is very much needed. There is no territory in Water Park. There are no bridges, ships, lawns, recreation areas, except for areas with sun loungers on the roof, but this is already different.

There is simply nowhere to play. For mothers with children is not the best option, I guess. Actually, as well as for those who like to enjoy their homes and contemplate the beauty around them. Therefore, you can forget about the scope, as in Amazon condo, Lumpini, Seven Seas, Grand Caribbean and many other projects.

Pools

There are two of them. One below. Right next to the parking lot. This means that cars and bikes are parked a couple of meters from where you swim or sunbathe (what place did the designer think?).

Fortunately, after 3 months, the area with the pool was a little fenced off, setting up sunbeds and covering the parking lot with rare bamboo branches. Also, two fountains were built in the lower pool. I won't tell you how they really should have looked, judging by the promo video.

The minus at the lower pool is not at all clumsy fountains and not parking under the nose, but the way the workers laid out its bottom ...

Nowhere else in the world have we seen such an ugly display! They just roughly cut pieces of tile and glued it on. All the joints on the steps are sharp, you can easily cut yourself, you feel all the steps with your body.

Have you watched Ravshan and Jamshut? Dumb humor, but it feels like they took part in the construction of Waterpark.

I don't like the lower pool, because I've already cut my knees there several times and hurt my hand once, because I climbed down a step below. Swim in it carefully.

The only charm is the jacuzzi (working). But most often, just like us and tourists who have already arrived on their holidays in Pattaya, you will swim in the upper pool, because the lower one breaks very often. Especially in rainy weather. Three times during the summer he could not work for 5-7 days ... Some kind of pump got clogged - this is how the respeshchen excuses himself.

In the dry season, it will most likely be in good condition almost always, so you don’t have to worry.

Rooftop pool

The rooftop pool has taken a better position. From here you can see the sea on one side and on the other side. The pool is bigger and the water is cleaner.

Previously, it was not changed often, but now it is monitored better. A jacuzzi is also provided here, but it is always off. And not the fact that it will be repaired. Nobody cares about this.

There are always more people in the upper pool, but we still found the time when no one swam except us. Now tourists or locals with children are frolicking upstairs, so it has become crowded. We are very happy that we are leaving Pattaya before the start of the high season.

Gym

Trezherku we waited 3 months. And those people who have been living here since the opening have been waiting for it a year longer than we have. This is of course no good. Despite the fact that the place for it was allocated in advance and was simply littered with furniture. Sofas, tables, cabinets were stored there. And it was impossible to disassemble all this heap.


It's been 2 months now that the gym is finally functioning.

People are in it. Are we doing? No! And all because even the fitness room was made through one place ...

At first, they didn’t install the air conditioner for a long time, and without it, it’s not a thrill to do it when it’s + 32C outside. You can push the doors and in the evening at least some breeze will reach.

Then they put the condo on, but no one came up with the idea to bring a remote control to it. People came, occupied in stuffiness and left. Then someone nevertheless achieved the remote control and it was finally given out. Don't you laugh

But the most relish is not in these trifles. The trainers were placed in the wrong direction. That is, in such a way that while studying, you do not look at the sea, as it was originally intended, but at the sheds and neighboring buildings. Watch your own promo video.

You are lucky that you did not see, and most importantly, that you did not hear all the working moments that the construction team worked on for as much as 3 hours a day. Although with a full working day, they could do everything in the shortest possible time. Our roof has been empty for almost 4 months.

During this time, people who bought apartments from other developers have already completed the construction of air conditioners, and we have only erected flower beds. Three months to complete the second half of the flower bed and plant it with flowers ...

There is nothing more to describe. You have already looked at the entire territory and pools. And now we take the elevator to the eighth floor and go to our apartment.

Our floor is the highest. On the ninth floor there is already a roof with a swimming pool. The side of the apartment is directed to the sea. This apartment has the best view. This is one of the most expensive apartments, not counting two-room apartments.

So, please, come on. Just take off your shoes before entering the apartment! They put up a rule that you can't leave your shoes at the door. Otherwise, a fine of 1000 baht! (And you can’t put garbage out the door and you can’t delay the payment of a communal apartment!!!). Penalties for each sneeze, as in. (it would be better if the developer was fined for the careless execution of the project).

Apartments in Water Park Condo. Description

Our living room, combined, as is customary in Thailand, with a kitchen.

The sofa is not as small as it usually is in a condo. The two of us can easily fit on it. These types of sofas do not fold out. For Thailand, finding a folding sofa is very rare.

Here we have a full-fledged and necessary size table for us to eat and work at. Two good chairs and a sofa with a table.

In the living room we have an interesting shelf and a large TV with two Russian channels: NTV and Russia. The remaining 60 channels are Thai, Indian, American and Arabic.

Kitchen

Our kitchen is big. There is where to turn around. Lots of shelves, trendy stove, extractor hood. Of the dishes, we ourselves bought some more, and the owner was only asked to buy a pot and a normal frying pan suitable for this type of stove.

The refrigerator is not the largest, medium in size, but always clogged with products.

We have enough, although we would like more. And what is not included here, we send to the shelves.

Only an unreasonably thought-out layout prevented us from properly preparing food. Splashes from frying hit the white wall, and even on the TV. You have to move it a little to the side and each time substitute a large piece of cardboard against the wall. Thus protecting the wall from greasy stains.

Cooking in such a kitchen is convenient and free. And the air conditioner is nearby. Turned on and not hot. Or opened the balcony and the front door and ventilated the apartment.

Balcony

On the balcony, we thought we would hang out more often. They even convinced the landlord to buy chairs and a table for us. But it didn't work out. Too hot in Pattaya this year to eat on the balcony or sit for a long time.

When it rains, we come out here to sit. Or in the evening, when we talk about something under a glass of whiskey and look at the sunset.

Bedroom

Our bedroom is finally separated from the living room this time. The window, unfortunately, is not to the floor (as it should have been according to the project), but the view from it is as cool as from the balcony.

The bedroom has another large TV and another air conditioner. The bed is comfortable, with a new thick mattress and two "sausages".

Comfort is added by a large lamp and two bedside tables. And more light. The whole apartment has a non-standard approach to lighting. Ceiling with a fashionable ledge, from under which light leaks. Romantic atmosphere every day.

Bathroom

From the bedroom you immediately get into the bathroom. Our bathroom is big.

Large mirror, designer square washbasin, rain shower. Even two souls!

We really need a door in the shower cabin to fence off the shower, but this was also not thought through. We immediately bought an absorbent mat upon arrival and laid it down so that water would not accumulate near the toilet. It does not fully cope with its task, but it is better than nothing.

That's the whole apartment, friends! Because of her, we moved here. She is truly excellent.

Materials for finishing the apartment and furniture are of high quality. More expensive than some condominiums. This immediately catches the eye. Nevertheless, the Waterpark project is considered not an economical option. And apartments are the main confirmation of this, which cannot be said about the air conditioner itself and its appearance.

All apartments feature a flat-screen TV with cable channels, a private bathroom with a shower and a fully equipped kitchen with a microwave, while some have a dining area and/or a balcony.

You can walk to the beach in just 9 minutes. Located in Pattaya City, near Pattaya Hua Hin Ferry Terminal and Walking Street. It features a fitness centre, garden and free Wi-Fi.
