The birthday of OAO Nizhnekamskneftekhim is July 31, 1967. On this day, the first products of the first-born petrochemical plant - the central gas fractionation unit - were shipped to consumers.
Over 43 years of production activity, the company has grown into the largest petrochemical complex in Eastern Europe. The joint-stock company's products are exported to 59 countries in Europe, America, and Southeast Asia. The share of exports in the total volume of production is about 50%. The most large-scale products sold for export include synthetic rubbers, plastics, styrene and neonol.
OAO Nizhnekamskneftekhim improves the technical and economic indicators of its work from year to year. As part of the modernization of the ethylene complex at the plant, acetylene hydrogenation and commercial ethylene purification units were launched. This made it possible to produce a record 593 thousand tons of ethylene in 2010 and 13 million tons since the start of production.
The company's strategic development program was developed in integration with the main directions of the Presidential program for the development of the petrochemical complex of the Republic of Tatarstan and is fully consistent with its goals and objectives.
